Doc G’s Impact at ICLAS 2024, Seoul: Pioneering Aesthetic Medicine in the Philippines

Doc G of Skeen Clinic, recently took the stage at the International Conference of Laser Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (ICLAS) in Seoul, South Korea last October 2024 as the only Filipino lecturer as a representative of the Philippine Academy of Aesthetic and Age Management Medicine, Inc. (PAAAMMI).

Renowned for her innovative approach to aesthetic care within the Philippine landscape, she was able to present how the non-invasive techniques of thread lifts can be the next big thing in the aesthetic medicine industry.

For her presentation entitled “Threads that Spells the Difference”, Doc G discussed how PDO threads can be a better option for patients who would usually opt out of going under the knife while still being able to achieve the same effects of having tighter, lifted skin, resulting in a natural-looking rejuvenated appearance–all with little to no downtime compared to what the traditionally invasive surgical method offers. 

This procedure is seen to improve better overtime once administered, anchoring on the body’s collagen production capabilities, which opens up discussions on the growth that it can contribute to the industry.
